The Scripture

Matthew 28:19-20  19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The Idea: Jesus and His Disciples

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations." This one word has echoed through time to multitudes of people ... All over the world to countless lives, but when it was first put out, it was to those who followed Jesus, not the whole world.

The Point: Jesus and you 

With 2,000 years of accumulated noise and modern distractions, it’s easy to get swayed from our true mission. We constantly fall into traps that have nothing to do with God's will. But we must remember: the Great Commission was never an instruction to go into all the world to become millionaires, gain massive followings, or go viral. For you and me, the message is just as simple as it was for the first twelve disciples: go into all the world and preach the Gospel."
