A WORD FROM M.KING: MAY 2026
SATAN DOESN'T WANT TO QUIT
The Scripture
John 10:10 (ESV) "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
The Idea
Back in September, I found myself in a movie theater watching a '90s classic I'd never seen before: Tombstone. There's a specific sequence where the protagonists are hunting down the "Cowboys." Now, these Cowboys were evil—they were doing the wrong things—and they were being taken out mercilessly. No grace, no mercy.
But then, a specific scene flashed across the screen. One of the men was shot while in bed with his wife and kids. In that heavy, jarring moment, I felt God speak to my heart with five simple words:
"Satan doesn't want to stop."
The Point
When I heard those words, I was in shock. Even now, they hit me with the same weight. Satan doesn’t want to stop. He is relentless. He keeps going and going because he desires to destroy.
So, here is my question for you: When you feel like throwing up your hands and giving up on God—when you want to walk away from Jesus, put down your cross, or refuse to forgive the person who hurt you—remember this: The enemy isn’t planning on stopping. He isn’t going to quit his pursuit of you.
If Satan doesn't want to stop... why should we?

CROSS FIRST NEWS: FULL BRODCAST
"Reviewing these articles made me think about one thing: we can't live so uptight. We have to be open to sharing our faith in unique ways, even if that puts us in the crosshairs of death. The Bible says death has no sting, and as you read these five articles, I hope you remember that. There are many ways to put our faith out there, and truly, death has no sting."
